Shakey Graves-

If you haven’t heard this guy, it’s time to stop living under a rock. Shakey Graves is a one man show that sets a new bar for all fingerpicking. This guy is the embodiment of creativity and shows that going solo for a live performance is as limiting as you let it be. Check out his song “Roll The Bones” (1), check out his bandcamp (2), or listen to his album (3) via the links below. You won’t regret it.

bellwire-

This band is a beautiful representation of how simplicity can be colorful. The band moved to Allston, MA in September and has been playing out as well as buckling down to record a full-length album. With two astonishing EPs (summEP, and Waterbed) under their belt, they should have no problem creating something for everyone. Whether it’s prints, or stickers sold at shows, this band has made a fantastic effort in getting themselves out there. Check them out at bellwire.bandcamp.com or check out a live version of their song “Tomboy Rock” via the link below.

THEIR/THEY’RE/THERE-

Their / They’re / There is the brainchild of Evan Weiss (Into It. Over It.), Mike Kinsella (Owen, Owls, Cap’n Jazz, American Football), and Matthew Frank (Loose Lips Sink Ships)

With beautiful guitar parts that sound impossible to pluck with human hands, and drum lines that can only be described as classic post-punk Chicago beats, Their / They’re / There have taken strengths from previous projects and poured them all into an exceptional debut EP.

Below is a live version of their title “572 Cuthbert Ave.” as well a link to their web page!
